AKTO Gallery
The AKTO Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Athens Campus and hosts exhibitions featuring works by AKTO’s student community, resulting from Art & Design academic pathways. It also hosts exhibitions by AKTO Alumni, independent artists, other Universities, creative groups, and institutions connected with the arts, society, and culture. It is a flexible space that can be adapted according to the needs of the exhibition or event, as it has the ability to transform. Its size can exceed 200 sq.m. and it features specialized curating equipment, which includes, among others:
- Main screen and individual screens for simultaneous projections
- Capabilities for sound art installations
- Professional lighting and display conditions
- Modern artwork hanging systems
- Additional surfaces for displaying works
- Possibility to host events in an outdoor or indoor Foyer
- Welcome Table & Reception facilities
Access to the building is very easy by public transport, such as buses, trolleys, trams, and trains from Victoria Station, and the building also has private parking.
Additionally, AKTO has ensured all Technical Accessibility Study Specifications are met, so that its buildings are accessible to people with disabilities and generally to individuals with restricted mobility (PWDs).
