Green Box Studio

AKTO’s Green Box Studio is made available to students, offering them the opportunity for practical experimentation, practice, and cultivation of their creativity.
The Green Box Studio is a “scenic” space, painted with special color, intended for photographic and video shoots to create the Chroma Key Compositing technique. Chroma Key Compositing, or Chroma Keying, is a special effect / post-production technique for combining different images or videos (compositing). The Chroma Key technique is used in television productions, advertising, and the entertainment industry for creating special effects in films and video games. In conjunction with the use of appropriate software (Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere), the creation of “chroma key” becomes possible and relatively easy for the average PC user if they already have a green box studio. Thus, the subjects being filmed have the ability to be ultimately placed in a different “scenic” space.
The Green Box Studio is widely used by students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, from the study programs: Animation & Interactive Media, Photography, Fine Art & New Media, Fashion Design, Sketch-Comics-Cartoon.
