AKTO COLLEGE

Undergraduate Programs

At AKTO, we accept applications for transfers and placement admissions during each registration period. We accept student transfers from Universities abroad, Greek Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), as well as Colleges. Prospective transfer students for AKTO’s undergraduate programs are required to submit:

  • Copy of National ID Card
  • Official Transcript (transcript) from each completed semester of study
  • Personal File (portfolio)

Candidates undergo a placement interview, which requires the presentation of a portfolio, to determine their placement level. Through this process, they secure courses and credits from their previous academic path and are admitted to an advanced semester or year of study. Additional courses may be assigned to cover deficiencies identified in the corresponding subject areas.

If you wish to transfer to AKTO, you can send an email to admissions@aktocollege.gr with your request.

AKTO I.S.A.E.K. (IEK)

Schools of Higher Vocational Training

AKTO accepts student transfers from public and private I.S.A.E.K. (IEK) institutions. Students enrolled in a Public or Private Vocational Training Institute (I.S.A.E.K.) who wish to transfer to a corresponding I.S.A.E.K. program at AKTO must submit the following:

  • Copy of National ID Card
  • Official Transcript from each completed semester of study
  • Personal File (portfolio)

According to the Operating Regulations, the process for transferring from other I.S.A.E.K. institutions or for the placement of graduates of secondary vocational education from EPAL (Vocational Lyceums) or S.A.E.K. (IEK) of other specializations, stipulates the following:

A. A student wishing to transfer to another S.A.E.K. (private or public) may do so by submitting an application to the S.A.E.K. they wish to attend for the winter or spring semester, on specific dates each year.

For Winter Semester admissions, applications are accepted from September 1 to 30 each year, and for the Spring Semester, from February 11 to 18 each year.

B. Holders of Vocational Training Certificates (V.E.K.) from S.A.E.K. institutions may be placed in related I.S.A.E.K. specializations, receiving exemption from courses they have already completed. Alternatively, they may be placed in a semester beyond the first in related I.S.A.E.K. specializations.

C. Holders of a Vocational Lyceum (EPAL) diploma are directly placed into the second year of studies (3rd semester) in related I.S.A.E.K. specializations.

For this reason, they submit a relevant application to the I.S.A.E.K. they wish to attend from September 1 to 30 each year for the winter semester and from February 1 to 15 each year for the spring semester.

If you wish to transfer or be placed at AKTO, you can send an email to admissions@aktocollege.gr with your request.
